Are you ready?

                                               SUNDAY 23/4

Regarding the first day, around 20h at night, we are going to be waiting for you in our high school to go to our houses. This day, we won’t do anything special because we will need energy to visit the places that we are going to show you NOW!!!

                                           MONDAY 24/4

8’00: GOOD MORNING! GUTEN MORGEN! BUENOS DÍAS!

The second day is going to be great!

First of all, we are going to go to our school. There, the teachers and we are going to explain the activities for the whole week here in Catalonia. It’s going to be perfect for everybody to remember the timetable!
Secondly, we are going to show you Sant Esteve Sesrovires, our little but funny village. You are going to see the centre and interesting places, like the Town Hall, where the major will welcome you.
At this point, the exciting part starts; approximately at 12h, a bus is going to take you to Sitges, a very beautiful town. Sitges is located in the Garraf Massif and it’s thirty kilometres from Sant Esteve.
Sitges is very touristic and is well-known for its shops, expensive restaurants, and the lovely and sandy beaches.

Everybody who goes wants to return! It’s a gorgeous place as you can see in the pictures!

                                                TUESDAY 25/4

What about the second day? It’s going to be interesting because we are going to visit Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia! Maybe most of you know about this city, because it has lots of tourists. There you can find lot of beautiful areas. We are going to visit: Passeig de Gràcia, ‘Catalunya Square’, ‘Barri Gòtic’, the Cathedral and more places! Let’s concentrate on the main ones:

1)       The Gothic Neighbourhood is one of the four neighbourhoods that make up the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. The Gothic Neighbourhood is the oldest part of the city and its historic centre.

      2)  The Cathedral is a Gothic one, it was built between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries and it is dedicated to Santa Eulàlia, Barcelona’s patron saint. You can take beautiful pictures here.

3)  La Boqueria is a municipal market that is in the Ramblas de Barcelona. Besides being a place where you can buy all sorts of fresh products, it is also a tourist attraction.

 4) Barcelona’s port, one of the most famous ports in the Mediterranean sea nowadays. In the middle of it, you’ll see a huge bridge that’s going to lead you to the Maremagnum, a big shopping centre.

                                          WEDNESDAY 26/4

To start with, you are going to visit PARK GÜELL, this is one of the most important landmarks in Catalonia together with Sagrada Familia. Both of them were created by the most important Catalan designer: Gaudí. So, in this amazing park, you are going to have a guide who is going to explain you the basic things about it  and some of the nicest places, so that you can know a little bit more about Gaudí. We are sure you are going to enjoy it a lot. Apart from this, it is a nice place to have a picnic, so you will have your lunch there!

In the afternoon, you are going to visit a science museum. In this place you can find an art gallery and temporary experiments and exhibitions (about nature, physics, and the environment).
On the other hand, there is an aquarium, a planetarium and a flooded forest.

Maybe, most of you know about our football team; FCBarcelona and its stadium ‘Camp Nou’ (the largest in Europe). We are going to stay outside visiting the area at 16’30 on Wednesday too.
And that’s all for this day! GUTEN NACHT! (buenas noches!)

                                        THURSDAY 27/4

If you love the nature or taking pictures, you will love this day!
Montserrat is where we are going to go, a mountain. The first thing that you are going to see is the breathtaking views.
To enjoy the visit, we are going to walk to ‘Sant Michel’s Cross’ and also to do a kind of Gymkana and at 13h we are going to listen the choirboys. This group of children is very well-known here in Catalonia, and their voices are spectacular.
At the end of the morning (around 14h) we are going to arrive to Sant Esteve. We will have free time in the afternoon!

Finally, the most special moment of the day (around 8 p.m) we are going to have dinner together in the high school and we will remember all the nice moments during the week! It will be the last moment together, so we will enjoy it!

                                               FRIDAY 28/4

Friday is going to be a more relaxing day because we are going to stay in our village.
First of all, at 8h, we (the Catalan students) are going to prepare different workshops; like musical, games, and sport activities in the school for you, and we will play and learn together.
Secondly, at 14’30 we are going to have lunch in our corresponding houses and...

as everything has an END, this trip ends here.
Around 16:30, the German students are going to go to the airport, so we will meet again at High School.
We hope you have a perfect week with us!
